Candidate Mike Rumfield, who is running for the elected Pct.4 Constable position, has major ethical issues which concern us all.
A county constable is an independently elected public office who answers only to the public. It is a law enforcement agency with all the powers of arrest, search and seizure as any police department or sheriff. Collin County has 4 elected constables.
Mike Rumfield is a former employee of the Pct.4 Constable's office. He was a Chief Deputy, he didn't actually 'run' anything', as this position is appointed by the Constable. It's unknown why he left this ranking position to go to work patrol in Princeton.
Candidate Mike Rumfield has a sustained complaint by Collin County human resources for sexually harassing a MALE DEPUTY!
Mike Rumfield was the Pct.4 Constable's Office Chief Deputy at the time of the Offensive Behavior, and he was Suspended.
Mike Rumfield has gotten NO Police Endorsements because even Cops don't want him in Office!
Do you really want the person pulling You or a Family Member over, or coming to your home, to be someone like Mike Rumfield who has a history of such illicit behavior? Absolutely not! What type of people, considering his own low standards, would he employ?

Mike Rumfield is currently being sued for a Federal civil rights violation! The case is now pending in the Federal District court in Denton County. The suit is against Rumfield personally and NOT in his official capacity. So why is Collin County representing him with an attorney??
One of the many allegations against Rumfield is an illegal seizure, and sell, of the property he took after using deceitful methods to enter the house and without a warrant! Another allegation indicates Rumfield was serving a writ of execution but doing so incorrectly and in collusion with an attorney. Rumfield then SOLD the property BEFORE the family could get a court order to stop him!

Mike Rumfield has refused to address these burning issues, or even mention them. Ask him directly and gauge his response carefully. Chances are, he won't accept accountability. Someone running for office makes them a Public Figure, they have no more privacy when issues are in the public interest! Don't let him threaten you by asking him about these issues.
Rumfield loves to threaten people who expose the truth about him. Do you want a bully wearing a badge, or even worse, running a police agency?! The truth WILL absolutely come out, either before or after the election. These horrible acts are verifiable, so don't let his threats stop others from hearing the TRUTH.
Let your friends and neighbors know about Mike Rumfield's sexual harassment behavior towards a male deputy subordinate and his brazen use of his badge to enter a home and take peoples property. Collin County deserves better!
Use your vote to show that we, as citizens of Collin County, refuse to elect anyone who behaves in this manner. We do NOT want, nor will we allow, such a person to have the power to suspend our Constitutional Rights for his own deceitful and nefarious purposes!
